RETRACTION NOTICE

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Al-Tamaddun has retracted the following article:

Ali @ Mat Zin, A. (2025). An Analytical Study on the Political and Intellectual Legacies of Necmettin Erbakan and Atilla İlhan. Journal of Al-Tamaddun, 20(1), 267–281. https://doi.org/10.22452/JAT.vol20no1.19

This article has been retracted due to concerns regarding (1) significant thematic overlap with a PhD research project at a local university, and (2) the presence of unverified and potentially fabricated sources that do not meet the journal’s standards for academic integrity.

No irregularities were identified during the pre-publication review process. However, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Board after publication. Following further investigation, a decision was made to retract the article.

This is in line with COPE guidelines to uphold the accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards of our publications.

The author has been informed of this decision.
