Financial Transformation Under Uncertainty examines how financial actors, institutions and households respond to uncertainty through forecasting, risk management, governance and resilience. The volume begins with predictive analytics, showing how hybrid econometric, deep-learning and LLM-guided approaches can improve market intelligence while raising questions of model validation and interpretability. It then turns to behavioural and systemic risk, examining investor sentiment, volatility connectedness, fintech-related credit risk and the role of macroprudential policy in moderating credit expansion during the COVID-19 crisis. The third strand focuses on governance and resilience, linking ownership structures and corporate responsibility to financial reporting, institutional accountability and long-term stability. The volume also broadens financial resilience beyond firms and banks by examining the financial security of professional footballers and the relationship between migration, household assets and coastal vulnerability in Bangladesh. Together, the chapters show that financial resilience depends not only on better prediction, but also on institutions, regulation, responsible behaviour and adaptive capacity across multiple levels of the financial system.
