The Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026): UM Science and Technology Book Series is a publication from The Asian Universities Alliance (AUA), in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), University Malaya, Malaysia is pleased to announce the 2026 AUA-UM Postgraduate Academic Forum on AI-Powered Insights: The New Era of Data-Driven Intelligence (AUA-UM-PGRES-AI 2026).
The forum succesfully held on 17–18 April 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia bringing together postgraduate students from AUA member universities to share research, exchange ideas, and foster regional academic collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies.
The 2025 AUA Postgraduate Academic Forum on AI-Powered Insights: The New Era of Data-Driven Intelligence serves as a dynamic platform for postgraduate researchers to explore advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science.

Co-hosted by Universiti Malaya, Universitas Indonesia, and Chulalongkorn University, the forum will feature keynote talks, workshops, and research presentations, fostering knowledge exchange and discussions on emerging trends.

Key topics include machine learning, big data analytics, ethical AI, and real-world applications across industries. Workshops will focus on developing technical and writing skills, while presentation sessions allow early-stage researchers to showcase their projects and receive constructive feedback. Selected papers will be compiled into proceedings and recommended for publication in academic journals.

Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the forum promotes academic exchange, collaboration, and professional growth within the evolving fields of AI and Data Science.
