Exciting News Updates in This First Issue in 2026

The redesigned Komputika Newsletter visual marks a significant step forward in both scholarly dissemination and aesthetic identity, aligning with its migration to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to enhance accessibility, indexing, and global visibility. The new format integrates a clean, modern layout with a thoughtfully curated visual narrative: local Malaysian cultural identity is subtly embedded through geometric patterns inspired by traditional motifs, while the 14-point star symbolically reflects national unity and inclusiveness. At the same time, the central wire-frame interaction and surrounding technological icons represent the dynamic ecosystem of Computer Science (CS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Engineering (SE) and other related fields—highlighting innovation, digital transformation, and research activities among students, lecturers, researchers, and industry stakeholders. This fusion of cultural symbolism and technological imagery not only strengthens the newsletter’s academic presence but also elevates its visual appeal, positioning Komputika as a contemporary, culturally grounded, and globally relevant publication. Furthermore, the enhanced visual identity supports clearer communication of content, making it more engaging and accessible to a broader audience across academia and industry. It also reflects the Faculty’s commitment to integrating tradition with forward-looking innovation.
