Building Bridges in Tokyo: UM Explores Computer Science Excellence

Abstract

In a strategic move to elevate academic standards and foster international synergy, a delegation from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT) at Universiti Malaya (UM) recently conducted a comprehensive benchmarking visit to the University of Tokyo (UTokyo), Japan. The visit focused specifically on the Master of Computer Science programs, aiming to align UM’s curriculum with global benchmarks while exploring the unique pedagogical strengths of one of Asia’s premier institutions.
